Ron Katkocin represents clients in lawsuits involving breach of contract; business disputes among individuals, corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies; business litigation; construction; creditors’ rights; fraud; insurance; professional malpractice; negligence; real estate; condominiums and other community associations; complex litigation; defalcation; suits on promissory notes; indemnification; officer and director liability; and injunctive relief.
Personal Injury
Ron handles lawsuits asserting claims arising from injuries resulting from automobile and other motor vehicle accidents; slips and falls; dangerous conditions; and negligence. Ron’s representation also includes counsel and advice with respect to Medicare and health insurance liens against personal injury recoveries.
Fiduciary Litigation
Ron represents clients asserting claims or defenses in lawsuits arising from alleged breach of fiduciary duty and other estate-related disputes, including Will contests; undue influence; trust litigation; guardianship actions; mental capacity; and claims by intestate heirs.

Trusts and Estates
Ron Katkocin performs a wide variety of services relating to estate planning including drafting Wills and Trusts; Durable Powers of Attorney; Springing Powers of Attorney; Living Wills; Healthcare Powers of Attorney; Living Trusts; probate; estate and trust administration; disclaimers; and guardianships. Ron’s services also include assisting in compliance with the decedent’s Will or Trust; preparing accountings during estate administration; retitling assets; preparing Release and Refunding Bonds for execution by beneficiaries and filing with the Surrogate’s Court; helping to avoid family conflict; and providing advice for compliance with the Prudent Investor Act.

Ron provides counsel and legal services relating to business including drafting and advising on contracts; commercial leases; deeds; promissory notes; mortgages; partnership, shareholder, and operating agreements; limited liability companies; incorporations; and buying and selling a business.

ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Legal disputes can be resolved in many ways, and Ron Katkocin knows how
to help clients reach a favorable resolution both inside the courtroom
and out. Ron represents clients in both arbitrations and mediations,
two forms of alternative dispute resolutions. His experience comes not
just from serving as an advocate in these types of cases, but also from
acting as a neutral party. Ron currently serves on the
approved list of arbitrators for Burlington County for both commercial
matters, such as breach of contract and business disputes, as well as
personal injury matters, such as automobile accidents and slip-and-fall
cases.
