Mission Statement: “To provide outstanding legal service in a timely and cost-effective manner without compromising quality.”
Ron Katkocin is committed to excellence. He has a reputation for providing honest and practical legal representation with an attention to detail. In litigation, Ron is a strong and tenacious advocate for his clients. He has a keen awareness of when to be aggressive and when to compromise.
Ron’s experience enables him to combine the quality and work ethic of a large firm with the flexibility and personal attention of a small firm, resulting in an attorney who is open, accessible, and dedicated to his clients’ best interests.

Ron Katkocin was graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania, in 1980, after having completed his degree requirements in only three years. Ron worked as a magazine editor for The Chilton Company for two years, and then he matriculated at The Washington & Lee University School of Law, in Lexington, Virginia, where he served on the Law Review. Ron received his Juris Doctorate degree from W&L in 1985.
After graduation, Ron took a position in what was then the largest law firm in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Ron was an integral part of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department until his departure in 1991 to form Markwardt & Katkocin, P.C., in Voorhees, New Jersey. Recognizing a need for clients to establish a long-lasting, professional relationship with their attorney, in 1994, Ron formed Katkocin Law Offices in Medford, New Jersey. He expanded his practice to include not only commercial and personal injury litigation, but also other civil legal services such as estate planning, business law, contracts, and real estate.
Ron’s clients credit him for his personal and caring service and attention to detail.
Ron is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He also is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States as well as the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Although Ron is licensed to practice in both the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as the firm’s website domain name implies, Ron’s practice concentrates on the nine southern New Jersey counties of Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Atlantic, Mercer, and Ocean.
Ron enjoys teaching Business Law as an adjunct instructor at Cabrini College, where he has taught since 1993.
Ron believes that a complete understanding of a client’s needs enables him to counsel clients more efficiently, achieve superior results, and anticipate problems before they arise. For this reason, Ron strives to work with each client on a personal basis.
